Amanda is a stay-at-home mom and has homeschooled both children. Caleb graduated a year early in 2024 and owns and operates Gen1 Greenhouse, a retail plant nursery and landscaping business, while Kaylee continues her homeschool education and participates in a homeschool co-op in Nacogdoches.
Bro. Brandon worked in IT for Joe Max Green Insurance and later BancorpSouth Insurance from 2002-2014 and worked as the Director of IT for Bright Coop from 2014-2016. Bro. Brandon surrendered to full-time ministry in 2016 when he began a technology ministry through which he has helped countless churches and missionaries of the American Baptist Association with things like websites hosting and design, online giving, logo design, print materials, sound boards, live stream cameras, TVs, computers, etc.
In September 2016, the Joneses moved to Somerset, Kentucky, and traveled around the southeastern part of the United States in an RV while Bro Brandon served as an evangelist which promoting and doing the work of his tech ministry. During this time, he preached in churches all over Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Mississippi. From 2016-2018, he also traveled to Mexico twice and to Romania once, where he worked on church building projects for missions in San Luis Potosi and Mante City, Mexico, and taught VBS and preached in Otopeni, Romania. Bro. Brandon also toured the Biblical cities of Neopolis and Philippi in Greece, and he and Amanda have visited many Biblical sites in Israel together.
In 2018, Bro. Brandon moved his family again, this time from Kentucky to Louisiana, to accept a position as the Associate Pastor of Hyde Park Baptist Church in West Monroe, where he later served as pastor for a brief period. The Jones family moved back to their hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas, in 2022 after Bro. Brandon’s dad passed away. They built a house 2 miles down the road from Bro. Brandon’s mother and he began working a secular job in a warehouse in Nacogdoches. From 2022 – 2025, Bro. Brandon continued supplying pulpits, serving as interim pastor, and serving the Lord as he had opportunity, until the Lord led him to Center Missionary Baptist Church in July 2025.
Bro. Brandon says that the years between 2022 and 2025 were very hard for he and his family, but today, he works as the Network Administrator at Farmers State Bank in Center, Texas, and serves as Pastor of Center Missionary Baptist Church, having started both positions the same week, which he says can only be attributed to the Lord going before him to make a way.
